Typical in-house repairs run $99 to $299 depending on what failed, and same-day service is offered where the parts are on hand. If a repair has to go to the manufacturer, we will let you know before any work starts.
Receivers fail. Mic ports corrode. Battery doors snap. Tubing hardens and cracks. Charging contacts stop making contact. Most of that is fixable on a bench with the right parts and someone who has done it a few thousand times.
Jordan has been repairing hearing aids since 2015, has trained at manufacturer facilities around the country, and has a stated policy that is unusual in this industry: if a patient’s hearing aid is not working, he will do whatever he can to get it working again without extra charge, up to and including reassembling aids that had been physically crushed.
What does this service include?
- Receiver and speaker replacementThe most common real failure after wax blockage. Often same-day if the receiver is a size we stock.
- Microphone and port repairCorroded or blocked mic ports, cleaned or replaced.
- Battery door and contact repairSnapped doors, sprung hinges, corroded contacts from Valley humidity.
- Tubing, earhooks and shellsHardened or cracked tubing retubed. Earhooks and sport locks replaced, with parts running roughly $5 to $30.
- Charging faultsRechargeable aids that will not take a charge. Sometimes the aid, often the contacts, occasionally the charger.
- A quick assessmentIf it needs the factory, we say so before you pay us anything, and we handle the send-out for you.

In-house repairs typically land between $99 and $299 depending on the part. You hear the number before we touch anything.
Repaired, verified, back in your ear
We re-listen to it and re-check the fit and programming before you leave. Same day whenever the parts allow.
What if it is out of warranty, or you did not buy it here?
Neither matters. We repair aids bought at other clinics, through benefit networks, online. Manufacturer warranties are worth using while they last. If yours is still in warranty we will tell you and route it that way, because that is cheaper for you than paying us.

Often, yes. Doing repairs in-house saves you the wait. It depends on whether the part is in stock. If it is not, we will tell you how long it will take.

Not necessarily, and what you do next matters. Do not put it in the microwave, an oven or direct sun. Take the battery out if it has one, leave the door open, and get it to us. A vacuum and dehumidify cycle saves a meaningful number of water-exposed aids, but the sooner it arrives, the better the odds.
